Description: The Albino Cherry Barb is a peaceful fish that fits in smaller community tanks. This fish originates from Sri Lanka, and exhibits schooling behavior. In captivity, it is recommended to keep this fish in odd-numbered schools as they feel more comfortable in a group dynamic. The bright coloration and hardiness of this fish explains why it is such a popular choice amongst beginner aquarists. The males exhibit a bright orange color, while the females show a bright yellow color across their bodies. These barbs are omnivorous and will appreciate a diet mixed with meaty and veggie-based foods.
